Sogeti UK secures Home Office contract

Testing and Assurance specialist re-appointed as Tier 1 supplier to the Home Office and other UK public sector groups.

 Sogeti UK, a leading provider of professional technology services specialising in software testing, application management, infrastructure management and high-tech engineering, is delighted to have been selected as the approved tier 1 supplier to the Shared Test Service - the Home Office IT Test Design and Consultancy Service (HOIT TDCS), for both Lot 1: Functional Testing Services and Lot 2: Non Functional Testing Services.

HOIT TDCS provide impartial, specialist knowledge and Test services to support project delivery, programme delivery and service management functions across the Home Office Group and wider UK government. The services HOIT TDCS provide range from strategic consultancy and programme test management, to the assurance of external service providers’ test products and services – the objective being to reduce risk, whilst assessing and improving quality throughout the whole delivery lifecycle. Day to day work includes devising test strategies for Home Office programmes, designing and managing business process based testing, and assessing the delivery of service providers’ test phases to highlight risks and resolve issues as early as possible.

Following an open competition Sogeti is thrilled to have secured a new contract with HOIT TDCS for 2 years, with an option to extend for a further 2 years. HOIT TDCS has selected Sogeti to: deliver value for money for customers and the taxpayer, provide scalability, increase responsiveness, offer knowledge of industry best practice and test policy, and provide innovative solutions to business problems.

Under the new contract, Sogeti UK will provide testing services to flexibly satisfy the fast moving business demands from HOIT’s existing customer base, and deliver testing services as part of blended teams made up of test consultants from Sogeti and HOIT TDCS.
