Transforming Testing: Sogeti UK Announces Theme and Sponsors for TestExpo™ 2013

Renowned Testing and Quality Assurance event reveals theme and first headline sponsors for the UK’s 29th TestExpo.

London, UK – 23 July 2013

Sogeti UK is delighted to announce the key topics for TestExpo™ 2013, and confirm leading names in Testing and Quality Assurance as sponsors for the event which takes place in London on 24th October.

For more than 17 years TestExpo™ has encouraged delegate participation in its engaging debates around the practice of software testing. TestExpo™ 2013 is no exception.

The theme for the event this Autumn will be ‘Transforming Testing: Identifying Solutions That Work”, and will highlight the real-life unique testing issues, industry level concerns and obstacles which prevent test teams from continuing on the path to becoming a more mature test function.

The event will be structured around a series of themes, with keynote presentations and round-table sessions where all participants can join in and discuss their challenges. Topics to be discussed and explored include Test Transformation, Agile, Mobile Testing, Performance Testing, Testing Budgets, Cloud and more. This year’s event is set to provide delegates with the solutions, tools and knowledge to effectively transform their test function.

Platinum sponsorship for TestExpo™ 2013 has been secured by IBM, while Sogeti is pleased to welcome back Hewlett-Packard as a prominent sponsor. HP join worldwide leader in software, services and solutions, Microsoft plus TRICENTIS® and product-development focused testing specialists Seapine Software as Gold level sponsors. At Bronze level sponsorship Sogeti is proud to announce that agreements are in place with Soflab Technology – Poland’s principal IT system testing company - and Load and Performance Testing solution vendor Neotys. Performance Testing specialists, Capacitas also support the event at Bronze level.

These major sponsorships highlight the anticipation surrounding this year’s TestExpo™ event, and reinforce the value of what has become the UK’s biggest and most renowned software testing event.

This announcement follows Sogeti revealing both the partnership agreement with conference and event organizer UNICOM to co-host and deliver TestExpo™, and the recent signing of Test Magazine and Professional Tester as key media sponsors.

TestExpo™ 2013 already promises to showcase a rich mix of topics, practical insights and thought leadership, having exciting sponsorships in place with organisations each with a diverse array of specialisms.

Lara Irwin, Head of UK Marketing & Alliances at Sogeti UK, concluded: “We are so pleased to have already confirmed a number of industry leaders in testing and QA as sponsors for TestExpo 2013, and are thrilled to have IBM return as a platinum sponsor this year. The combined experience, advice and thought leadership that all of these organisations will offer, will certainly guarantee a valuable and thought-provoking TestExpo event.”
