Managed Testing Services: Three UK
Sogeti's Managed Testing Service at Three UK is bound by a commitment to reduce the cost of testing by 45% over a five year term, as well as KPI's to demonstrate improvement in the quality of products and services that Three UK provides to its customers and employees.
Hutchison 3G UK Limited (Three UK) launched in 2003 with the vision of doing things differently to other mobile operators. Their ethos has always been to make life easier for their customers; by helping them to get the most out of their mobile devices, offering real value from the services provided and by removing the barriers that frustrate them. Working with Sogeti enables Three UK to provide high quality IT services and deliver on these promises.
Sogeti has had a close relationship with Three UK for several years and in 2015 Sogeti proposed transforming this relationship into a fully Managed Testing Service (MTS). The 5 year contract was signed in November 2015 and in February 2016 Sogeti successfully completed the transition.
Sogeti established itself as the sole MTS provider delivering end-to-end QA and Testing solution. This included testing strategy definition, execution and working with third parties as well as other internal parties. To ensure success, the MTS was underpinned by a number of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). We have a contractual commitment to reduce the cost of testing by 45% over the five year term and there are KPI’s in place to demonstrate our success in reducing our test execution time as well as improving the quality of products and services that Three UK provides.
From the outset, Sogeti increased efficiency and coverage in time to test and cost reductions as well as the all-important quality standard of the services and products that Three UK delivers to both customers and employees.
