- Sogeti has been engaged to provide IT systems assurance and test
activities, We are providing skilled testing specialists to define and
carry out assurance and risk-based testing. We have designed a framework
for their approach to end-to-end assurance and a test strategy covering
the entire development lifecycle from ideas through delivery to live
service.
The targets to meet in this assignment include:

- Sogeti is currently delivering a Managed Testing Service (MTS) outsourcing
project at a major health insurance company. The client is implementing
a multi-year, multi-stage programme to consolidate local and national
processing, using several vendors in the development effort. The client
realised that such an extensive programme demanded an independent third
party to plan and execute testing. We are responsible for all test planning,
preparation and execution activity in the programme through to 2009.

- The client decided to create a dedicated centralised testing unit to support the regional operating companies worldwide. The company took this opportunity to improve overall performance and competence, by working with Sogeti to implement a series of process and quality improvement measures. Using Sogeti’s TPI framework, their test expertise was enhanced incrementally, establishing a strong base from which to take a further step of selective outsourcing.
